About Ricoma Europe

Ricoma Europe operates in a traditional industry — but we are building our business in a different way.

We combine physical equipment sales with a digital-first and data-driven approach, using online marketing, direct customer acquisition, digital sales processes and modern business tools to grow our presence across European markets.

Our goal is to bring modern digital sales and marketing practices into an industry that has traditionally relied heavily on conventional distribution and offline sales.

About the Role

This is not a typical administrative working student position.

As part of our European team, you will gain hands-on experience across different areas of our business and see how marketing, sales, data, customer communication and operations work together to sell physical products across Europe.

Rather than being limited to one department, you will work with different functions and gain a broad understanding of how a modern European business is built and scaled in a traditional industry.

Depending on current projects, business needs and your own strengths and interests, your responsibilities will evolve over time. As you gain experience, we want you to gradually take ownership of your own tasks and smaller projects.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Customer & Partner Communication: Assist with incoming inquiries and communication with customers, distributors, service providers and business partners across Europe.
  2. Business Operations: Support different departments with coordination, documentation, data maintenance, internal processes and process improvement.
  3. Digital Marketing Support: Help prepare and update marketing campaigns, content and creative materials, including basic work with tools such as Adobe and Figma.
  4. Data & Digital Projects: Gain practical experience with tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager and support reporting, website-related projects and the analysis of our digital customer journey.
  5. Cross-functional Projects: Participate in projects across sales, marketing and operations and gradually take ownership of smaller projects based on your strengths and interests.

What We’re Looking For

  1. Currently enrolled in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Digital Business, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Strong interest in how digital tools, data and modern sales & marketing approaches can be applied to physical products and traditional industries.
  3. Curious about business beyond a single department and interested in understanding how different functions work together.
  4. Comfortable working with digital tools and motivated to learn new platforms, systems and technologies.
  5. Initial experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe, Figma, CRM systems or other digital business tools is a plus, but not required.
  6. Structured, proactive and hands-on, with the ability to work independently while communicating effectively across different functions.
  7. Good English skills; German and additional European languages are an advantage.

What You Can Expect

You will not be limited to repetitive administrative tasks or a narrowly defined department.

You will experience first-hand how we combine digital marketing, lead generation, sales, data and business operations to grow a physical-product business across European markets.

You will have the opportunity to:

  1. Gain exposure to different areas of a growing European business.
  2. Work with modern digital, marketing and analytics tools.
  3. Understand the complete journey from online customer acquisition to sales and business operations.
  4. Work in an international environment with customers and partners across Europe.
  5. Contribute your own ideas and participate in real business projects.
  6. Gradually take on more responsibility and develop in the areas that best match your strengths and interests.
  7. Enjoy free on-site parking.
  8. Have access to a staff kitchen with microwave and basic kitchen facilities.
  9. Enjoy free coffee and a wide selection of complimentary drinks in the office.

We are therefore not looking for someone who already knows everything. We are looking for someone who is curious, willing to learn, comfortable with change and interested in understanding how a business really works.
